Shaped by Atlanta's prolific grassroots music culture and hip-hop tradition — the "eccentric rap" outfit Revival Season is the joint project of beatmaker/producer Jonah Swilley and rapper Brandon "BEZ" (B Easy) Evans.
Having cut their teeth across Atlanta's many different genre scenes — as likely to share a bill with a punk band as play an underground hip-hop night — Revival Season took their innovative, distinctly homegrown sound international in 2024 with the release of their debut LP Golden Age of Self Snitching, followed by the Formless EP (Heavenly Recordings). They toured throughout the United States and Europe while maintaining the self-sufficient, DIY approach they started with.
Full of fervor and unexpected, irresistible beat/bar combinations, Revival Season constantly pushes the parameters of their art — turning everything you thought you knew about rap music inside out, and inviting you to jump on the remains.
Blending dub, indie rock, and post-punk influences, they deliver exuberant narratives and cultural critique with a unique, high-powered live show — in message, delivery, and energy.
Now fully independent, Revival Season returns with their most self-possessed statement yet: This Machine.., out September 2026 — written, produced, and released entirely on their own terms.
